Actavis has used Screenet for several years, both in Iceland and in branches ourseas. Screenet offers a simple and convenient way to manage and activate the company’s screensavers. The system provides a powerful medium to disseminate the policies, values and goals of the company. It has been very useful for providing “food for thought”, advertising and creating an atmosphere around some of our events such as the annual party, the Christmas party, charity projects, employee health improvement, or simply when we celebrate success. Moreover, the screensaver is one of the many communication routes we use to implement our corporate culture following the purchase of companies or the opening of new operating units.

In the run-up to the launch of Nova, Screenet was used to count down the days until the company came on the market. Since then, Screenet has been used to send all kinds of greetings, such as Christmas, Easter and summer greetings, and to advertise various events for employees such as parties, bowling, sales contests between employees or ugly sweater days. Later, pictures from such events are broadcast for everyone’s amusement. This method of communication can help to build team spirit within companies, something we have certainly managed to do at Nova with the help of Screenet.

Last winter, N1 installed the Screenet screensaver programme in its facilities. The system has received a great deal of interest from employees, who have received the programme very positively. N1 has 800 employees, and Screenet enables the company to disseminate information to an even greater number of employees in various departments than was previously the case. N1 has found it extremely advantageous to activate different screensavers in the various departments when the content of the message and information sent varies.

The Icelandic Road Administration
The Icelandic Road Administration has employees all over Iceland in many individual branches. The majority of these employees are located outside the greater Reykjavik area. As a result, it has been very convenient to use the screensaver to transmit messages to employees. Pictures have received the greatest amount of interest and have led to lively discussions on where they were taken. The text messages have also been useful to amuse employees and to point out interesting facts that relate to the Road Administration and its employees.
